Hire a Consultant works with talented performing artists and groups, musicians and bands, songwriters, television composers, film composers, session musicians artist managers, independent record labels, production company executives, music publishers, producers and engineers on a retainer, non-commissioned, non-exclusive basis.

For those invited to participate in the Hire a Consultant program, the monthly retainer fee entitles you to the following:

• Exclusive, high-quality music leads for record deals
• Music distribution leads
• Film/TV soundtrack placement leads
• International music licensing leads
• Music publisher leads for songwriters/bands
• Leads from music managers, record companies and artists seeking songs to cover
• Leads from music producers seeking talent
• Leads from music managers looking for producers, re-mixers and engineers
• Personalized advice on your career goals in the entertainment industry

In most cases, and depending on the style of music and your goals, you receive leads weekly. You can always be assured that the packages you send from the leads provided will be opened and listened to. They will NOT be considered as unsolicited.

And as a Hire a Consultant client, you keep 100% of the money you receive from all deals you accept. We never take a commission during the Trial Period.

The monthly retainer fee you are charged covers our team’s time and expertise in providing you advice, opportunities and contacts from around the world. We provide you with all the information and tools you’ll need to score deals. Then it’s up to you to take full advantage of the music leads we give you. You are responsible for sending your music to these contacts by the deadline, if a due date is designated. Some opportunities are open-ended and may not have a deadline.

Plus, all the information on these key decision-makers you receive from us—contact names, what kind of music they like, phone numbers and e-mail addresses—is yours to keep for future use. In other words, we also give you the opportunity to build up your own contact list.

We work in 30-day periods. If you want to terminate our services you can do so by providing us with a 30-day advance notice via email during the last week of any 30-day period. Once you do this, your final payment is due and you continue to receive our services during these final 30 days.

If you secure a deal with a reasonable financial offer while working with Hire a Consultant, you have the option to end our fee-based service and negotiate, in good faith, a percentage-based agreement with our parent company Countdown Entertainment.

This service is not open to everyone. And there is usually a waiting list since we try to limit the number of Hire a Consultant clients to just four. That’s so you get the time and attention you deserve.

For a free music screening and to be considered, you must first acknowledge that you understand our fee-based policy then completely and thoroughly fill out the submission form and provide a link to your music. If we feel your music has potential in the international marketplace, and IF there is an opening on our Hire a Consultant roster, you will receive an invitation to give your career the boost it needs by becoming a Hire a Consultant client.
